On Homological Algebra for Commutative Rings without Noetherian Conditions

This thesis concerns homological algebra over commutative rings without Noetherian assumptions. In particular, it studies local cohomology through weakly proregular sequences and characterizes semi-hereditary rings in terms of the flatness of torsion-free modules.
